Æge relocates to Oslo city centre and continues its growth
Æge's Oslo office has moved from Nydalen to new premises at Universitetsgata 10 in central Oslo. Located on the 7th floor of a classic brick building, the new office is just a short walk from Nationaltheatret. Being situated in the heart of Oslo provides even closer access to clients, partners, authorities, and key stakeholders across the energy sector.
The move reflects Æge's continued growth and ambition to remain a leading advisor and project partner within power infrastructure, grid connection, and renewable energy. Our team consists of specialists and project managers with extensive experience from the power industry, grid companies, renewable energy developers, and industrial projects. Together, we support clients throughout the entire project lifecycle, from grid studies and concession applications through engineering, construction, and operation.
The relocation to Universitetsgata 10 is a natural step in Æge's development and provides a solid foundation for future growth. The new premises offer modern facilities for collaboration, project delivery, and meetings with clients and partners.
Strengthening Æge
We are also pleased to welcome three new colleagues whose experience and expertise further strengthen Æge's capabilities.
Vilde Eriksen Bjerknes joins as Office Manager in Oslo and Managing Director of Æge Power. Vilde brings more than 25 years of experience from the energy industry,including power generation, offshore wind, and eight years as a board member of Statkraft. Her experience ranges from project execution and business development to strategic leadership at board level, providing valuable insight into both the operational and commercial aspects of energy projects.
Magnus Bakken joins Æge as Chief Commercial Officer (CCO). With nearly 20 years of experience across the energy, offshore, and industrial technology sectors, Magnus brings a strong background in market expansion, business development, sales, strategic partnerships, and project execution. At Æge, he will be responsible for leading the company's commercial activities and supporting continued growth through client relationships, strategic partnerships, and market development.
Thea Øverli joins Æge with extensive experience from the renewable energy sector,including her work at Fornybar Norge. She has worked closely with grid connection processes, industry development, and stakeholder engagement, and has contributed to the development of the maturity criteria now used by most Norwegian DSOs when assessing grid connection requests. Her knowledge of both regulatory frameworks and practical grid-related challenges further strengthens Æge's advisory capabilities.
All three are based in the new Oslo office.
